I bought this for my dad who has dementia and Alzheimers since it was affordable and I thought would have some easy to operate buttons. The clip was also a good option to be able to clip it to his shirt. For some reason it will not play continuously and stalls in between songs. I thought it was just taking a while to boot up the next song but then it just shuts down. I'll need to look for another.
I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this product and it appeared to work well... for 3 days. Thought it was that the battery needed recharging, but that did not work. I was only 10 minutes into my next day's walk when it died. It starts... plays 2-3 seconds of a song then stops. Turn it off and turn it back on and it does the same thing!

You just can't beat this for music portability. The only problem I had was that the buttons were so small, they sometimes seemed to stick when I skipped forward through too many songs. To the person who said it didn't charge: maybe you weren't charging it correctly? You connect it to your computer through the USB cable. The player must be turned on while charging, and you must hold down the play button until you get a solid and not flickering light on the MP3 player.

Bought this product and it appeared to work well... for a week! Thought it was that the battery needed recharging, but that did not work. I was only 5 minutes into my next day's walk when it died. It starts... plays 2-3 seconds of a song then stops. Turn it off and turn it back on and it does the same thing!
Will be back to buy another mp3 player tomorrow... but probably not from Walmart and most certainly not a Hipstreet model!
