Speedy delivery from UPS. Everything worked out really well despite the problem with the internal clock and date. No matter how many times you update it, as soon as the TV reboots, the date and time are off again. Audio is excellent. As a matter of fact, I think it's even better than my 5 year old Sony Bravia 40" LCD! Video quality is pretty good too. Gave an overall 4 out of 5 for this product. Thank you Walmart and Westinghouse for bringing a value line-up on 40" LED TV for budget shoppers like me!

I was at first hesitant about buying this T.V. but then when I knew that it comes with a one year warranty I told myself I will give it a try since I have nothing to loose. This T.V. is definitively worth every dollar spent on it.

I am very happy with the online service I got the Unit delivered into my living room after this I installed the unit to use with Shaw Cable and with a laptop and a wireless connection with the internet.
I use it to view photo's Directly from my Camera or hard drive via the laptop VGA or directly thru HDMI. Picture and sound quality are fantastic. Movies 100 % from Camera as well from Internet and Cable
The only thing I found strange :there are no switches to be found on the TV itself so everything has to be done with the remote

Good price, good performance, poor features...the remote doesn't even have a "mute" button. It's necessary to press buttons 3 times before it mutes.
Had I known that in advance....I wouldn't have bought it.

Still the image quality is great for the price. I now use it almost exclusively as a simple second monitor for my laptop.

I was skeptical at first about Westinghouse since I hadn't heard a great deal about Flat Screens from this particular manufacturer, but I thought I would take a chance considering the price and the company history. The TV has a very nice picture in 1080 hd and works especially well in our bright living room. The sound from the internal speakers is clear and very fills a 20x15 room well. The features are fairly basic and the remote is simplistic. I am pleased with this TV so far.
I would recommend this to a friend.

This works much like TV's did decades ago - turn it on and there are your shows! Images are crisp and clear on both standard and HD channels.
We were just looking for an LED TV, without all the internet features as we're laptop users. We have components connected to each of the in ports and the remote has buttons to select which one you want to use - it couldn't get any easier than that.
I would highly recommend this TV for anyone looking for an basic TV - and at this price, it couldn't get much better.

I was looking for a new television for my parents, they had an old '92 Mitsubishi big screen, which has done amazingly well, and still works, but times are changing. I needed a solid buy, from a brand that brought both performance and reasonable price to the table. This was it, and I couldn't be more please. The quality is great and it's been wonderful to have in the house - this thing is seriously thin, it takes up virtually no room. I've read a few reviews from people about the sound being low.. but that couldn't be further from the truth. Any solid HDMI cables will get you what you want to see and hear.

I bought it on boxing day after searching all other offers this was the best.
This TV has excellent features for its price and has a Toshiba made platform.
The one down turn is that it's slow to start and slow to move from one input to another.
Highly recommended!

Our 36" picture tube that we had in our bedroom quit working on Boxing Day 2012. I searched all the deals but found the price of $298 for this 40" flat screen to be the best.
I ordered it online and delivery was free. The tv performs well and has a nice picture & sound.
I was a little worried after reading reviews on other sites that I wouldn't be able to program this tv to my Bell Satellite remote. I tried the codes Bell had listed but none worked. It took some time and research but I was finally able to find that code 500 #a Sony code# works for this tv.
In doing my research, I also read that there can be some difficulty with mounting this tv #need 1" spacers or something like that# but we have a tv stand so this was a non-issue for us.
Overall, very happy with this television, especially considering the price paid.
I would recommend this to a friend.

I'm not one to write reviews although I admit reading them to help me make a decision so I thought I'd write one for you.
I received the TV 3 days ago and like it so much I came back online to purchase another and they're sold out.
Honestly, I am quite impressed with everything about it. The picture quality is in fact to crisp that I had to make it blur a little to get rid of the jagged edges on animated movies. The sound quality out of most LED TV's is terrible but this Westinghouse 40" model sounds great! No need for an additional soundbar or entertainment unit.

I love this tv. I bought it for gaming on my ps3 and it is fantastic. No problems .ie dead pixels. It is a great tv for the price and size. However it is VERY basic, don't expect all sorts or gadgets and apps like a smart tv. (If your getting this the users manual is a disc you put into a computer) Great tv.
